Lots to do today and tomorrow before leaving for Adirondack Raceway. Madison is packing today.
Larry....we're bringing her Wii and the Rock Band game complete with guitar and drum set. Wish you could be there. We'll bring it next week too! :e
Ok, let me get this straight, you are driving a motorhome several hours, to a race track, where there is going to be actual racing, and the thing about which you are most excited is a computer gaming console???? See what I mean Jill??

That's okay. We're bringing ours, along with Rock Band. I'm sure Bruce won't "mind" setting it up on your outdoor TV. :e Does he prefer to play the drum set, or the guitar?

I don't see it as Flying J trying to alienate their RV customers, I see it as a few loudmouths that can't go along with change in today's economy. If businesses are to survive they must change with the times and that is what Flying J is doing. To those that want to bad mouth the company for their actions, I say move on to Love's, TA or Pilot, then you will know what alienating an RV customer is, as they don't want our business.

Our trips to and from Florida, we fuel up at just about every one along the way. The new one in Kenly, NC is our favorite.

We've owned our MH since 2004. Have almost 1000 hours on it. So, I guess we use it quite a bit.
Will be using it this weekend, but will shut it off at night. Also now use a Genturi. :w
I change the oil/filter every 100 to 150 hours and run synthetic.

Thank you!!! Maybe we should all plan another honeymoon and celebrate together sometime around the middle of the month somewhere. Find someplace with a hot tub at your site. AHHHHHH Wishful thinking but it sounds good.
Such a place exists by Dave and Ris'. :b Dave checked it out for us last year. It was newly constructed.

Another way to look at it is that FJ is indeed trying to keep more money in their pocket and got tired of paying out what they were to the credit card companies.
So...they offer their own credit card and you can secure it, to get the discount, or you can pay cash.
Can't argue with their logic.
Or....am I missing something?

I love Flying J. If you don't, then use another gas station.
Good grief.
Try pulling into TA or Pilot or some local gas station instead. Have fun if you're pulling a toad.

New Market is off of I-81, correct? I've seen signs for it and am pretty sure that's where.

Bruce...I have a meeting at 10:oo on Thursday. Leaving here around noon. There around 7:00. Can I get the same spot as last year so that I can get out easily on Sunday morning at 5:00 a.m.?
Bummer on the meeting. We're working on getting the same set-up we had last year, or at least something close. Tootie even has the Sunday morning breakfast re-scheduled for Saturday morning so you guys don't miss out on the feast.
I think I have your H2O situation all set too.

This past trip, used them and they were fine. Always use them. Appreciate the fact they are there.
Only issue this trip was a jackazz pulling a fifth-wheel who was parked in one of the RV lanes at the Latta, SC facility. Plenty of room to park after gassing up. His rig sat there while I waited for two MH's to fill up.
When it was my turn, I pull up, and begin to fuel. The dude comes out of the FJ and told me not to eat inside, as it had taken him 20 minutes to get his check. He then started fueling his truck. Nice of him to park there for what was at least twenty minutes while he ate inside.
